Selection Process
The selection process for the AFCAT consists of the following steps:

- Objective type exam consisting of General Knowledge, English Language, Mathematics, and Reasoning
- Separate papers for Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches

Physical Fitness Test:
- Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for a physical fitness test (PFT)
- The PFT consists of a 2.4 km run, 100m sprint, push-ups, sit-ups, and rope climbing
