The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the JEE Mains 2024 exam. The online application process has also started. Interested candidates can apply for the exam by visiting the official JEE Mains website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

- Date of Correction Window: 2nd December 2023 to 4th December 2023
- Date of Computer Based Test (CBT): 24th January 2024 to 1st February 2024 (Session 1), 1st April 2024 to 15th April 2024 (Session 2)
The eligibility criteria for the JEE Mains 2024 exam are as follows:
- Educational Qualification: Class 12th or equivalent examination passed in 2022, 2023, or appearing in 2024 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
- Age Limit: 25 years (as on 31st December 2023) for General category candidates and 28 years for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.
How to Apply
To apply for the JEE Mains 2024 exam, candidates need to follow the steps below:
- Visit the official JEE Mains website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the “New Registration” link.
- Register yourself by providing the required details.
- After registration, login to your account and fill out the online application form.
- Upload the required documents, such as scanned copies of your passport-size photograph, signature, and educational certificates.
- Pay the application fee online through debit card, credit card, or net banking.
- Submit the application form.
The selection process for the JEE Mains 2024 exam will consist of a single-tier computer-based test (CBT). The CBT will be held in two sessions: Session 1 and Session 2. Candidates can appear for either session or both sessions.
The CBT will be held for a duration of 180 minutes and will consist of 200 objective type questions. The CBT will be divided into four sections:
- Section A: Mathematics
- Section B: Physics
- Section C: Chemistry
- Section D: Drawing (for B.Arch. candidates only)
