SSC GD Recruitment 2024 Notification Out, Apply Online For 75,768 Vacancies
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for the recruitment of Constable (General Duty) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), NIA, SSF, and Rifleman (General Duty) in the Assam Rifles Examination, 2023. The recruitment notification has been released for a total of 75,768 vacancies across various paramilitary forces.

- Online Application Starting Date: November 24, 2023
- Last Date for Online Application: December 28, 2023
- Last Date for Fee Payment: December 29, 2023
- Tentative Date of Computer Based Test (CBT): February 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29, 2024 and March 1, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 2024
- Tentative Date of Physical Efficiency Test (PET): April 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 2024

Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Indian Citizen
- Age Limit: 18 to 25 years as on January 1, 2024
- Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University
- Physical Standards: Candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards as per the notification
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): The CBT will be a 90-minute objective test consisting of four sections: General English, Mathematics, Reasoning and General Awareness.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be called for PET. The PET will consist of running, broad jump, high jump, shot put and 800 meters race.
- Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who qualify in the PET will be called for PST. The PST will consist of height, chest, and eye test.
- Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify in the PST will be called for medical examination.
Application Procedure
Candidates can apply online through the SSC website (ssc.nic.in) from November 24, 2023 to December 28, 2023. The application fee is ₹ 100 for male candidates and ₹ 75 for female candidates.
